- Because of the bargaining power of the IBEW Local 153, our members enjoy some of the most competitive wages in the industry
- Union workers make on average make 30 percent more than non-union employees

EDUCATION
- The South Bend & Vicinity JATC trains Michiana’s next generation of electrical professionals, tuition-free, at their facility in South Bend
- There, our Electrical Apprentices learn from experienced industry professionals in a hands-on, practical setting the tools they need to begin their promising career in the electrical industry
- These evening classes allow the student to “earn while they learn” – taking the stress and financial burden that comes from attending or returning to school out of the equation
